September yet another busy month in the Linen room
Our opening times
Current opening hours are a Wednesday from 11 – 1pm
September is turning into another busy month for ‘The Linen Room’ (aka the House shop) – just the way we like it! Tales of Tartan weekend, Maker’s Market and Doors Open Day are the main events, accompanied by the regular History tours and Paranormal nights.
Talking of Tartan, we receive donations of left-over kilt fabric and seconds, as well as other materials, such as needle cord and velvet.
Our talented seamstresses then transform these redundant items into unique bags of all different sizes, shapes and colours.
Here we have a selection including back packs, regular bags and a bottle bag that, I am told, doubles up as a shoe bag when travelling!
