On Friday 4th March Bannockburn House had the pleasure of hosting MP Alyn Smith, MSP Evelyn Tweed and Cllr Alasdair MacPherson to discuss our plans.
We briefly discussed our recent achievements from our huge volunteer led gardening, construction and wall work to our community engagement, climate action projects and employability placements we are creating.
Then we went on to discuss our 15 year Masterplan of how we wish to restore and conserve the house and grounds while creating a real community asset. The timescale for completion of all of our ambitions plans are of course subject to funding and we hope to be able to start the next phase of our regeneration project next year.
We are planning to create a cafe, event space, workshop spaces, offices, a children’s play area and ample car parking facilities for our visitors.
We were delighted that our guests had taken the time out of their busy schedules to attend our meeting at Bannockburn House and thank them for their ongoing support.
