Dorothy Morrow of Ladies of the Rock said: “We are extremely grateful to Bannockburn House for their generous donation.  They have helped keep our community larder well stocked through the summer and autumn with their amazing array of fresh vegetables and fruit.  This funding will help us through the winter months when we need to purchase fruit and vegetables for the larder, keeping our community supplied with healthy food.”

As well as the cash boost, Bannockburn House has been donating boxes of fresh fruit and veg to the Community Larder every week.

Sheila Taylor of Bannockburn House Trust said: “The House is owned by the community and we want to support local people as much as we can. Ladies of the Rock have done such an amazing amount of work, week in week out, to help vulnerable people in this time of need. We’re honoured to be able to help them continue their brilliant efforts.”
