Our Gardens & Grounds
Our gardens and grounds around our house are around 25 acres and include fields, woodland, trees, south lawn, fountain, walled garden, orchard, rockery, vegetable gardens and so much more beautiful greenery. They are engulfed in natural and historical heritage of the full estate and can be enjoyed by all throughout the year. The gardens are currently under development and are only availble to the public at certain times.

The dedicated volunteer gardening team has put in a huge amount of time, work and effort and there is still an enormous amount of work to do in the future (if you want to become a gardening volunteer please click here) but the work completed to date is really amazing. They have weeded, lopped, pruned, edged, chopped, swept, raked, drunk tea and eaten cake through all weathers to create a wonderful, manageable and working garden for volunteers, members and the public to enjoy when they are open.
Please note: We are undertaking major ground works in our gardens and grounds at the moment and we hope to have certain areas of the gardens open for visitors during our open days.
The following 3 pages will give you more information on our beautiful natural gardens at Bannockburn House.
