Volunteers and the board of the Bannockburn House Trust are delighted and extremely grateful to Greg Farquharson, Karen Farquharson, Danny Letford and Kevin Wilson who have raised enough funds by running the Stirling marathon to supply Bannockburn House with a defibrillator (AED).

These amazing people ran the Stirling marathon to raise enough funds to supply Bannockburn House, Bannockburn Primary School and St Mary’s Primary with defibrillators, but the generosity of others exceeded their target and they were able to supply an additional one to Bannockburn Amateurs football club.
The defibrillator will be delivered to Bannockburn House this week (24thJune 2019) and training has been organised for July (10th). The training will be delivered by Trossachs Search and Rescue team to show our volunteers, contractors and board members how to use the machine if it is ever needed in an emergency.
The hope is that it is never needed to be used but is onsite in case an emergency does happen that requires this life saving piece of machinery that anyone can use.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and amazing gift that may just save a life.
