Bannockburn House hosted a new event on 3rd April, its first Wedding Fayre.

Over 100 loved up couples attended the event showcasing over 25 unique wedding specialists and suppliers including florists, photographers, make up artists and even jacobite guards of honour.   As guests arrived, they made an entrance being piped up the driveway and were greeted with a glass of prosecco.  The historic house looked incredible after being dressed by Alloa based Eze Events.

The day also included a catwalk show by J H Kilt Hire form Grangemouth and Charlotte Grace Bridal based in Doune and wedding bands playing in the marquee throughout the afternoon.

This follows Bannockburn House’s recent launch as a wedding venue which has caused much excitement and plenty of industry award nominations, including Confetti Awards and Scottish Wedding Awards, even in its short time of hosting nuptials.

Wedding Coordinator Amanda Monaghan said “It was such an incredible day, the house looked breath-taking while set for a ceremony and reception and there was a real buzz about the place.  Couples were very enthusiastic about potentially choosing Bannockburn House as their venue for their special day and every booking also helps us along with our restoration project for the house and grounds.”
